Operations and Ongoing Development

For managers whose software runs fine but no longer has a reliable partner for maintenance and further development.

Your software runs, but small changes keep piling up because a reliable development partner is missing. We take over operations and further development on an hourly basis - no minimum volume, no contract lock-in.

From daily operations

Sound familiar?

01

The application does its job, but the list of small change requests has been growing for months because nobody implements them.

02

The original development partner is no longer available, and nobody feels responsible for the application any more.

03

A maintenance contract with a monthly flat fee does not match your needs: some months bring a lot of work, others none at all.

What changes for you

Small changes no longer pile up. Tasks are prioritised together and worked through in predictable iterations.

You pay for completed work, not for standby. Hourly, as needed, with no minimum volume and no retainer commitment.

Every iteration ends with a review and a documented handover. You can always see what was done and what comes next.

Your questions

Is there a minimum volume or contract term?

No. Billing is hourly, based on actual need. If nothing comes up in a month, there are no costs. You can pause or stop at any time - source code, documentation and access remain fully with you anyway.

Do you take over software that others have built?

Yes. We first get an overview of code, infrastructure and documentation and record the state we find the application in. After that we estimate effort per task before implementing it. That way there are no surprises on the invoice.

How fast do you react when something is urgent?

We prioritise together in the backlog, and urgent topics are moved up. We do not promise fixed response times across the board - we will not give a guarantee we cannot reliably keep. If you need guaranteed availability, we discuss honestly before the start whether we are the right partner.

How do we avoid depending on a single provider again?

Every iteration ends with a documented handover, and what we learn about the application is recorded in writing. Source code and access stay with you. Another provider could take over at any time - that is by design.
