What does a custom web application cost?
It depends on the scope, and we will not quote a flat rate we cannot keep. Before we start you receive a written concept with an effort estimate per work package and named uncertainties. Billing is hourly, based on actual work. You can always see what the hours were spent on.
How long until a first usable version?
That depends on the scope. A focused first version is often possible within a few weeks, provided data access and decisions are available on your side. We deliver iteratively: you see intermediate states in reviews and can adjust course before larger effort is spent.
What happens when our requirements change along the way?
That is the normal case, not a problem. Because we work iteratively and bill by the hour, we simply reprioritise together instead of negotiating change requests. The concept is kept up to date so the foundation stays current.
Who owns the finished application, and what if we want to switch later?
You do. You receive source code, documentation and access in full. There is no lock-in model: the handover is documented so your team or another provider can continue the work. For ongoing operations we prioritise together in the backlog as needed, without retainer commitment.
Do you also build classic company websites?
No. Marketing websites and template shops are not our field - a specialised web agency is the better choice for that. We build applications that carry processes: business applications, portals and dashboards. If there is a process behind your website though, such as bookings, customer accounts or integrations, you are in the right place.
